Mission & Outreach

Our Mission and Outreach committee strives to reach out and support our community around us in many different ways. Here are just a few.

Trunk or Treat

Our community Trunk or Treat is full of laughter, sugar, costumes, and fellowship. Our members have such a fun time dressing up, decorating their cars, and handing out candy to all the children who come from within the community.

Car Show

Our church was a part of the “Tri-Church Cruise In” community event along with the Sandston Baptist and Cornith United Methodist Churches. This was a great event where the community came together for lots of cars, food, music, & fellowship.

Kindness Rock Garden

Our youth established our rock garden in 2021 to spread kindness, love, and positivity to others. We encourage everyone to take a rock, paint a rock, or just admire them as you come by.

Memorial Day Parade

Our church participates in the community Memorial Day Parade each year. In the past we have taken part in the actual parade, but have since been helping to run an activity table. This allows us to be apart of the community and get to know the ones around us.

Movie Night on the Lawn

Our church has hosted several movie nights on the lawn for our community with popcorn and drinks.

Angel Tree

Our church adopts a family within our community during the Christmas season that needs help.

Thanksgiving Meals

Our church works with local schools in our community to provide Thanksgiving meals to those in need.

Eastern Henrico FISH

Our church along with many others help support FISH by doing a monthly collection as well as collecting items that are most in need for this food pantry.

Fear to Freedom Kits

Clothing and toiletries drive to make trauma kits for ER patients who have experienced sexual assault and trauma.

Wreaths Across America

Our Church helps the national cemetery in Seven Pines lay wreaths to honor and remember our fallen heroes.
