Sandston Presbyterian Church was founded in 1923 as a small town church with a focus on Reformed Worship. It was originally called Community Presbyterian Church and started from an ecumenical Sunday school class that met at the local elementary school. It was initiated and led by members of the community during a time of growth in the area. Lay leadership and community involvement were central to its success in the past and continue to be hallmarks of the church today.
